Zappos is such a wonderful example of success through social media. It uses its Facebook and Twitter accounts to offer discounts, support, and offers to increase customer base. I found it so fascinating that they even have a book that specializes in the success stories of their company. They will send it to you for free and you can even come visit and tour their unique offices which encourages creativity and individuality. They have capitalized on customer service through their social media efforts alone as they always put the customer first.

Twitter is one of the social media outlets that Zappos uses on a daily basis. They answer customer questions, offer specials, and promote new products. Twitter is the best way to get constant updates out and it really works well for companies like Zappos.


The proof is in the pudding. Their company has boomed since its start in 1999. I see Zappos furthering their efforts and reputation to become one of the biggest if not the biggest online retailer in the world. I hope they expand their services further and beyond what they already have.
